FEAST OF epiphany Adoration and Eucharistic celebration in Advent
On 02 December 2020 a prayer evening was organized in SS Salvatore in Onda church, Rome. The members of the Pallottine Family in Rome gathered together for the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 17:30 and to pray for the members of our Pallottine Family who are affected and those who have lost their lives due to coronavirus pandemic. The Eucharistic celebration, which followed, was presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Jacob Nampudakam SAC, the Rector General of the Society and the Ecclesiastical Assistant of the Union. He also preached the homily. At the beginning of the Mass Ms. Donatella, the President of the Union, extended a warm welcome to those who were present and those who participated in the Mass virtually. Many members of the UAC from all over the world took part in this evening hours of prayer. Let us remain united, praying fervently and seeking God’s intervention in these moments of difficulty posed by the pandemic covid -19.
![]() UAC - Forming Apostles for the Church and the World
An International Online Conference was held on 21 November 2020 on the theme: UAC - Forming Apostles for the Church and the World. The Conference began with a short welcome note by Rev. Fr. Jacob Nampudakam, the Rector General of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate and the Ecclesiastical Assistant of the Union of Catholic Apostolate. The Resource Person, Rev. Fr. Frank Donio, the Director of the Catholic Apostolate Centre, USA, in his presentation highlighted the primary importance of making our charism attractive by witness of our lives and drawing people to follow the ideals of St. Vincent always in service of the Church and its mission. He spoke about the seven keys to Christ-centered collaboration: Christ, Cenacle, Communion, Cooperation, Communication, Compassion and Co-responsibility. He also presented very briefly the initiatives and the endeavours undertaken by the team at the Catholic Apostolate Centre. After the presentation there was some time for questions and observations. About 85 members of the Union: priests, sisters and lay people, from all the continents participated in the Conference. It was a pleasant and very enriching occasion for the whole Pallottine Family, specially to be together though through virtual means. Ms. Donatella Acerbi, the President of the Union along with many other participants thanked Fr. Frank for his well-prepared presentation. a prayer and reflection moment in a time of lockdown
